mosquitosliderProtect you and your family and/or make sure your event in Minnetrista is a success.

Nothing wrecks a great get together, outdoor picnic, special event or simply a BBQ night with your family like that familiar whine of a mosquito in your ear. We who live in Minnesota know that often it’s viewed as our second state bird. It’s not only about mosquitoes however. Many other outside pests endanger the enjoyment of our brief summer as well as your family’s health.

Lyme Disease, which is carried by the Deer tick, continues to be on a continuous rise in the seven county Twin Cities Metro area the past several years. Encephalomyelitis and West Nile Virus are carried by the mosquito. These and other bug transmitted diseases are concerns for Minnesotans each summer season.

Applications are scheduled approximately 10 days apart. Depending on the varying weather conditions, applications work well for approximately 8-12 days. After the insect control spray is applied and is dry (which takes somewhere around 20 min), it is safe for anyone, including kids and pets, to go in the application area.

Mosquito migration occurs each evening at dusk. Throughout migration female mosquitoes are feeding and may find you before they contact the applied surface. You will notice reduced protection for about thirty minutes.

Bee pollination is an extremely critical process within the insect world. We are quite conscious of the necessity of their task and do not choose to disturb them in their vital function.

Minnetrista Minnesota

This city is located in both Hennepin and Carver counties in the state of Minnesota. The name Minnetrista comes hails from the Dakota tongue which means crooked water. It is a rural city and features a lot of agricultural activity that involve corn, beans, horses and hay.  The city can be described as on or near the boundary between the suburbs and the rural areas and it faces pressure in favor of and against development.  Based on a 2010 census, the population was 6,384.

Lakes in Minnetrista include Whaletail Lake, Little Long Lake, Mud Lake, Ox Yoke Lake, and Saunders Lake, as well as several bays of Lake Minnetonka. Six Mile Creek runs through the western part of the city and brings the runoff from about 17,000 acres (69 km2) to Lake Minnetonka. In 2005, the Minnetrista City Council began referring to this creek as a marsh. One possible reason they did so is that in general, cities can regulate marshes, but not creeks and rivers. At that time, there was also a discussion about limiting docks within the city along Six Mile Creek. Docks with Lake Minnetonka access can be highly valued.
